WE INTEND TO RESTORE THE HOTEL to its former glory days, and make it a real asset to the community once again. Plans and proposals are being reviewed by the city council that would include widening and improving Edgewater Drive to eliminate traffic congestion, and rebuilding the original pier. Plenty of underground parking will be provided so that no impact will be made on the surrounding community. It will be a wonderful asset to Dunedin and will help to usher in a new era of glamor to the area.
The Fenway will be a beautiful place for:
Weddings - An area of the hotel will be designed for wedding parties and receptions.
Fenway Hotel Theatre - We will provide a stage in a meeting space that will be ideal for theatre groups to perform live theatre. A movie screen will allow meetings and presentations for whatever our visitors and business clients need.
Four-star rating - We will achieve a quality hotel experience, complete with valet service suitable to the gateway entrance into Dunedin.
Promotion of Dunedin Merchants - Dunedin is full of quaint, charming shops and marvelous restaurants. The Fenway Hotel will provide trolley cars that will take guests to downtown and back for shopping and dining.
The Pier - The pier can be rebuilt to its former beauty. Water taxis will be provided to take guests to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Caladesi Island. Rental of Sunfish sailboats and kayaks will also be provided.
Outdoor Dining - A courtyard fountain situated on terrazzo tile will make for a beautiful, intimate dining experience, similar to the Biltmore in Coral Gables.
The Fenway Hotel Spa & Fitness Center - For guests who wish to tone up and become more beautiful — there will even be a pool to relax by. You will be able to have a facial, massage, manicure for the perfect get-away experience.
